I didn't see a big victory in Healthcare last night. It still has to go through the Senate. One thing I've learned in the last year, something I've always known in my gut, is that the little guy is always going to be tromped on.
Nobody cares if the average working American lives or dies. The bottom line is profit. There are a lot of selfish people out there, out for themselves, and the economy is picking up. It's those people, the people that are working, and have insurance that the GOP seem to be targeting to stop the passage of healthcare.
These are the democrats that voted against the Healthcare bill. These were posted last night on the thehill.com , but I looked up the states they represented, and what I noted was the fact that the majority were states that really don't care about the problems of the states where Healthcare is critical to the financial survival of the state. I didn't see Illinois or Michigan on this list. In fact, I didn't see several states on this list. Unfortunately, all of these states have a segment of the population that needs Healthcare reform. Apparently these representatives are not concerned about the country as a whole, nor are they concerned about the plight of their constituents. If Healthcare doesn't pass, somewhere down the line they're going to wish it had. What we're probably going to find is that the murderers and thieves that run our health insurance companies have probably given these representatives a financial reason of some kind to block the passage of this bill. I know that's a "duh", but I just had to blow off.
