This is an object lesson for the hard-headed Democrats who don't realize they are playing with fire.
Can you hear us now? Please hold for an important message...
In 2004, you said you couldn't do anything without a majority. We delivered in 2006.
In 2006, you said you couldn't do anything without a super majority. We delivered solid majorities and BOTH chambers of congress in 2008.
In 2008, you said you couldn't do anything without the White House. We delivered the presidency with map-changing electoral landslide that gave you a mandate for change.
And in return? You give us the Stupak Amendment? You would roll back the clock? You think we are going to go back and refight battles we won decades ago?
I don't think so. Letting Republicans call the shots when they are the minority party is not going to end well for the Democratic Party. Trying to push the agenda of a party that has been discredited and rejected at the polls is not going to solidify Democratic Party gains. We don't need more Democrats, we need BETTER Democrats. Democrats who support and fight for core principles supported by their base. A base that is decidedly progressive.

Feel free to use and distribute the web image to anyone you think might be interested. There is also a larger format version available for printing to color printers here. Be sure to change the paper orientation in print settings to "Landscape" before printing.
If you want a hi-resolution (300 dpi) image for graphic work, contact me via the email in my profile.
I am also putting this logo on stuff you can purchase online at cafepress.com. You can buy t-shirts, bumper stickers, buttons and more with this graphic message on it. Show the world you refuse to return to those dark days of back-alley abortions.
The merchandise has a 10% markup over cost. All profits will be donated to the Democrats who stood up for reproductive rights, especially those in Republican-leaning districts. These are the people being supported through the ActBlue Page set up by Adam Bonin (We've Got Your Back).
Stupak and his enablers in Democratic "leadership" have shifted the Overton Window with their cynical gambit. They have violated a well-established core plank of the Democratic Party Platform. If this continues, I guarantee the next step will be to generalize this message along these lines:
