Earlier today, Adam B put up a diary about his ActBlue page We've Got Your Back for the twenty most vulnerable Democrats who cast the toughest votes in favor of health care reform and in favor of reproductive freedom Saturday night.
The goal was to reach at least 300 overall contributors raising a total of $20,000 for these candidates. Right now we're just at 194 overall contributors for a total of $13,935.
Good, but not there yet!
Let's keep it coming!
As Adam B explains:
If politicians in tough districts see that national support exists when they do the right thing on a big vote -- and there be no bigger than Saturday night's between now and November 2010 -- they will feel more comfortable doing it again the next time. They won't have to worry about losing some donors over these votes if they've gained our loyal support instead.

Even a $5 or $10 donation will make a difference! Let's spread the love. Because meanwhile, the GOP started taking aim at vulnerable Democrats like Mary Jo Kilroy immediately following the vote on Saturday.
Three of them are junior legislators from highly competitive Ohio districts: first-term Reps. Mary Jo Kilroy and Steve Driehaus, and Rep. Zack Space, a second-term Democrat from a district that backed GOP presidential candidate John McCain in 2008.
Kilroy, who is facing a 2010 rematch against the Republican she narrowly defeated by 2,300 votes last year, took to the House floor Saturday morning to declare her support for the bill.
"This is a moral issue," Kilroy said, in a speech that noted her own trials with multiple sclerosis.
We can't let them get away with this! Do what you can, and pitch in a couple of bucks!
