My words but it is not too far from what Ax meant below. I strongly believe that Romney is of the illusion that these sect of Republicans will ever nominate him even for a dog catcher. He is such a liar and a man who does not have any convictions whatsoever. I am glad that David Axelrod pushed back hard at criticism from former (and future) Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney about White House deliberations on Afghanistan.

In an interview taped Saturday from Singapore with CNN's John King for "State of the Union,"

Axelrod said: "I know that Governor Romney has never had responsibility for any decision akin to this, so he just may not be familiar with all that it entails. But I think the American people are being well served by a process that is assiduous and in which every aspect of this is considered. Because, after all, lives of American servicemen are involved here."

This one of many stupid thing this idiot said of the president:

"This is a president who is learning on the fly," Romney said. "He's never turned anything around before. He hasn't had the experience of leading a nation or a business or a state in trouble. And the first rule I can tell him is focus, focus, focus. "

And what does Romney know about military operations, war or leading a nation. As one commenter said, there is one thing Obama does know that Romney doesn't: how to lead a successful presidential campaign. Ax hit a home-run when he said this,

"Because, after all, lives of American servicemen are involved here. An enormous investment on the part of the American people, we ought to get it right"

because Bush hardly took any of these into consideration in his eight years in office. Under Bush we spent over 1.2 Trillion Dollars and lost over 4,200 troops in Iraq with nothing to show for it.

I can't agree more with this commenter's statement that:

Bush-Cheney-Rove (BCR) went into Afghanistan with a great U.S. military force but executed the war on Rumsfeld's shoe-string budget. BCR never caught bin Laden, and 'temporarily' chased Al Queda and the Taliban across the border; while allowing the war to meander for 8-years as BCR redirected limited U.S. troops and resources to Iraq.

Where was HYPOCRITICAL Romney criticism for the past 8-years?

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
