I have had enough. Though we are all annoyed by Fox news and their approach to fabricating news, it is clear now that Rupert Murdoch personally endorses the Fox News (and Wall Street Journal) approach and supports the point of view. (See the latest comments from him on Beck and Murdoch's history of political involvement.)
Nothing will change as long as Fox ratings are high and Fox has a captive 'base' of wingnuts who won't view anything else. I am personally trying to make sure that I and my family don't spend any dollars on the Murdoch properties and would love to see the broader company under financial pressure.
It was quite shocking to see the full list of properties that Murdoch is invested in (found a list through Wiki - below the fold -- incredible) and to know that we have been unwittingly using these properties. Are there others that we should be aware of? Have we done enough re: pressure on sponsors?
[Updated 1 -- geez] Oh, did i mention that Palin's book 'Going Rogue' is published by Harper Collins -- you guessed it a Murdoch property -- no wonder Fox is shilling it -- just sickening and sad the virtuous circle of slime.
