Better advice than the stuff thrown out by the other party:
I think as the Blue Dogs welcome their new colleague Congressman Owens and remind themselves that he's the first Democrat to hold that seat in 140 years, since Ulysses S. Grant, and that he campaigned on the Obama program, they'll have to say, 'You know what, we're onto something here if we stick with the program...'
Any Democrat that thinks that running away from his or her party and opposing its agenda is a path to victory need only look at Creigh Deeds in Virginia. He was a terrible candidate, and might've lost anyway, but the margin and exit polling was telling -- the party base ditched the election.
