He used his many resources to try to stop violence.
To honor John Lennon, his work and vision to create peace, please take some action today to end the US led unconstitutional wars. If that's not your scale, how can you bring peace to your community, street, or home?
It warms my heart to hear many young folks continue to share how much they love his music, and how "Imagine" is their all time favorite song. That many generations are touched by his anti-war music gives me real hope!

Note that in Iraq as of last month, an average 3 civilian casualties per day was a record low body count. This is not "winning", or "victory", and nothing will change, unless enough of us demand a change of course.
I don't think it matters that much to the people we kill, if it is by combat force or air-strike drone, we are fueling their violence with ours; and due to local gov budget cuts in public safety services, we are less safe at home.
If you are not sure about taking action, ask yourself, what would Lennon do?
I think he'd agree with the call for a cease fire.
In peace,
