As always, coming to you live from beautiful Uptown Houston. Today I enjoyed my company holiday party. Tonight it is cold, and I strung up Christmas lights with two of my favorite guys.
And so, with a twinkle in my eye, and much cheer, I bring you this week's edition of the fast-growing-up-and-coming feature here on DKos: Videos for Kossacks.
This is a chance for you to take a break from some of the heavier issues and just enjoy a little eye candy, a few laughs and maybe even discover something new.
Feel free to post your favorite clip of the week. As always, I ask you, my fellow Kossacks to comment/rate it, even if you hate it.
Let's start with a little pop culture. Something to warm us up on this cold winter's night. Check out Jimmy Kimmel Live - The second part of Jimmy's interview with Jake Gyllenhaal.
Staying with the winter weather motif, here's sno-bo, a deceptively simple, cute and sweet little film by Vera Brosgol & Jenn Kluska.
Next up, I give you something perfect for your daily tribal dance ritual. What? You don't have a daily tribal dance ritual? And you call yourself a Kossack...
Actions speak louder than words. So rather than us go on about how Ron Winter directed the new Shooting Stars music video, got the lads, Bag Raiders to you and me, in front of the blue screen while they were touring North America, or what its like waking up in a bed full of polygon-crafted pretties - just watch the clip and make up your mind.
This wouldn't be a weekly "best of" without this other Jimmy Kimmel Live - Promo for the New Bachelor.
Here's a fun little video that features awesome little drummer boys, and then some. Enjoy 'Cheap And Cheerful', directed by Sophie Muller.
For more drummer boy fun, this time on a warm and sandy beach, Friendly Fires unleash this vibrant video for their latest single "Kiss Of Life".
I leave you with a mesmerizing clip entitled Cut Throats by Steven Klein.
Please post your favorite clip of the week. Remember to comment/rate it even if you hate it!
