Well, we're 14 days into December. I've given the final exam, I've attended numerous zumba classes, and I've fallen off the wagon a bit eating-wise and gained a couple of pounds. I have the following to get through -- a party on Saturday, dinner with my graduating Ph.D. and Masters students on Sunday, Christmas dinner at a friend's house later that week, and...well, those are about it where social challenges are concerned. My own desire to hibernate with a giant plate of grilled lamb chops, beer and cheese? That I can't blame anything for except maybe the season and the dark.

Fortunately, one week from today, everything old is new again and we begin the long climb up out of darkness. I can feel my mood getting ready to shift, ready for even that faint hint of lengthening days as we crawl painfully towards spring. I burned 988 calories in Monday Night Double Zumba today. And how's your holiday going?
That's all I've got tonight. Anyone want to sign up for a WHEE diary? See below. I promise I won't forget Sunday this time...well unless my grad students make me drink a lot of sangria.
