Occasionally, when I want to go into a fit of blind rage, I'll still listen to the bloviating gasbags of wingnut radio.  It elevates my heartrate and blood pressure without any of that pesky  time consuming exercise, and I can flex the muscles of my fist without getting one of those stupid rubber balls.

Anyway, my latest foray found a theme which I find to be a disingenuous piece of shit, so I have a challenge for wingers like Michael Medved and Rush Limbaugh, as well as sociopathic assholes like Joe and Hadassah Lieberman.

It is a simple challenge, really -

Voluntarily Forego Preventive Care

Propagandists (the likes of which would make Joe Goebbels proud, particularly that asshole Medved) keep telling us that preventive care is expensive and statistically unnecessary.  They repeat that, over and over.

Thing is, I want them to put their money where their mouths are.  No more preventive care.

That means that Joe doesn't go in for checkups, PSA tests for prostate cancer, colonoscopies or sigmoidoscopes.  Rush doesn't get to go in for stress tests.  Hadassah doesn't go in for mammograms or pap smears.  Michael doesn't get his skin checked for suspicious spots.

Live the life you're consigning the rest of us to - prove your point with your own bodies.

Somehow, I doubt we'll see that much integrity out of these mendacious, sanctimonious windbags.

And Howard - right now, I'll take half the loaf.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
