Here's what the Times says about Reid's latest incarnation of Health Care Reform:
Mr. Reid’s amendment includes major restrictions on abortion that were intended to win support for the bill from Mr. Nelson. Under Mr. Reid’s proposal, health insurance plans are not required or forbidden to cover abortion services, but there is a major exemption that would give states power to prohibit abortion coverage in the insurance markets, or exchanges, where most health plans would be sold.
Still not a single Republican vote, and with these restrictions and the Stupak Amendment in the House bill, can we even strip out this bullshit in reconciliation?
Way to make the base feel great, Harry. Here we should be celebrating a victory, and instead we're putting out the black bunting for the loss of a constitutional right...
