Reuters is printing that Dean is airing an attack ad in Iowa over passage of the Iraq war resolution:
"Where did the Washington Democrats stand on the war?" the narrator of the Dean ad asks. "Dick Gephardt wrote the resolution to authorize war. John Kerry and John Edwards both voted for the war. Then Dick Gephardt voted to spend another $87 billion on Iraq."
"Howard Dean has a different view," the ad says.
What I'm wondering is, how effective is this going to be? The ad isn't particularly negative, and although it does target the three next most popular candidates, I'm not sure how well the anti-war message plays in Iowa. What do you think?
