If you're a student at Cocke County High School you get a free pass to attend the local tea party.

I got a phone call today from a parent who said Cocke County High School was going to excuse students who have parent’s written permission to attend the Cocke County Tea Party on Thursday. I contacted a teacher at the school who confirmed the story and said the school made two P.A. announcements on Tuesday, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Each announcement said that students who brought in a written permission slip from their parents could attend the event and would get an excused absence.
But don't worry, according to the organizer, Beth Boyle
This is a non-partisan event focused on the citizens of Cocke County and all Americans.
Cocke County is in NE Tennessee, on the North Carolina border, and has been described by an FBI agent as "probably the most corrupt county in Tennessee", though it's more commonly known for dogfighting and cockfighting.
