I mean ABK until Boston, then I'll dry my eyes, wipe off the dust, and fight against Bush.
I sincerely believe Dean is the best candidate the Dems have this year. I sincerely believe Kerry is the worst candidate the Dems have (except Joe, rest his soul). That said, I will support the candidate selected by the nomination process -- but we need to let the process work! We shouldn't short-cut the process just because Terry McC or Al From think we should line up behind the most "electable" candidate before even one quarter of the delegates have been selected.
I voted for Nader in 2000 (I live in Seattle, where it didn't matter because Gore won by a good margin anyway). But I've changed my thinking since then: The presidency, by its nature, is a "lesser of two evils" office. Plus, historically, meaningful reform has always been acheived through the House, not by an insurgent Pres. Reform-based presidential campaigns have always been symbolic.
I will choose the lesser of two evils (and Kerry is evil) in November, but I won't be bullied into choosing him tomorrow morning at my precinct caucus.
