There's a strange relationship within the Black community with those who chose to become Republicans and the other 95 percent. Not that becoming a Republican is wrong...perse...but with the perception of the GOP (due to, well, what they say and do) being so negative a lot of times it's viewed as a betrayal of your people and/or anger at the Negro in question for supporting what is considered flat out evil.
Enter Michael Steele.
Appointed in what seemed to be a direct response to the election of the USA's first African-American President(I use that term because one of his parents are ACTUALLY from Africa. I, on the other hand, am Black. End of story) Steele has won a special place in the hearts of the GOP and Blacks alike. Case in Point...
