Sol Fed Joe's quilt, "Starlight Dance"
I have collected thirty-five messages for andsarahtoo and need thirty-three more to make her quilt. You may know andsarahtoo from Chronic Tonic and GUS. She suffers from lupus, a terrible disease that attacks the brain. Will you please write a supportive message for her to be included in her “love catcher” quilt?
What is a “love catcher” quilt? I take your messages to a Kossack who needs a community hug, write them in archival ink on muslin, and sew them, together with colorful pictorial fabrics, into a quilt that can be cuddled, cried into, or hung on the wall to be read over and over.

The strength of a community can be measured in the warmth it brings to its members. For all the warmth you've given us, let us extend some warmth to you.

Costs associated andsarahtoo’s quilt are already taken care (figured at $5 message as these will be more complicated designs) – all that is needed tonight are messages. It is the messages that provide the mojo! However, every time I have put up a quilt diary without a PayPal link, someone asks for one. So, if you feel a desire to help the project and would like to pay forward to the next one, for Frank Cocozelli, here is the PayPal link.
If you know of someone who would benefit from one of these quilts, please let me know and I will add them to the list.
Namaste.
