I don't have the stomach for politics tonight, so I am going to post the beautiful photos I took in Europe over New Years.
Europe 2010
We started the trip in Paris, then over to Umbria and the lovely small town of Giove where my sister lives. After that we went to Amelia, Orvieto and ended up in Firenze for New Year's Eve.
Then we went back to Giove for 5 days of Umbrian countryside relaxing, cooking and photography... and then off to my favorite city in the world, Roma!
I have always loved Roma... I was fortunate enough to live there as a teenager for a year or so, but really, you can't appreciate things (DRUNK) at that age... so it was a treat to go back (SOBER) and really take it all in. We could have stayed another month there, just wandering the streets and stopping to eat gelato and drink coffee.
I hope you enjoy the photos and I don't get flamed for not posting something more pithily political. Don't worry, I'll get back to that in no time.
