Here is the wrap-up from the latest 'real' polls to come out in the MA Senate Race:
ARG - Brown +3
Blue Mass Group - Coakly +8
Suffolk - Brown +4
So it is going to be tight race...a race where 'turnout' plays a part. And for some reason, when turnout play a key role, the progressive side always seems to lose. Given the real chance that Brown wins, so what about Health Care Reform ?
In MA, the law allows 10 days after the election (in order to get in all absentee ballots) for it to be certified. So the Dems timeline to get this done had better be no later than 10 days after the election (so January 29th). For f*uck's sake, this should have been done 6 f*ckin' months ago.
From the people I talk to everyday, they don't see HCR as an immediate issue and the Dems history of handling it is not a ringing endorsement of the Dems.
Where does that leave us? All I know is The Dems have better get this through...or they will be punished severely.
