Lest anyone forget what happened to the "march towards impeachment" in the aftermath of the 1998 elections, when Democrats gained seats in Congress, in reaction to the Ken Starr-GOP witch hunt focused on Bill Clinton's penis...
Remember how all all the Beltway goons thought that the repudiation of the rethuglicans would slow impeachment?
Well it didn't. It only sped it up.
Remember?
In November 1998, the Democrats picked up seats in the Congress....
While the Republicans still maintained majority control of the United States House of Representatives after the 1998 midterm elections, they would also lose a large number of seats to the Democrats in this election as well...Impeachment proceedings were initiated during the post-election, "lame duck" session of the outgoing 105th United States Congress.
So, what's my point?
If Coakley loses tomorrow, and the press whores circle the Dems like the buzzards they are, IGNORE THEM and PRESS AHEAD on health care. Push the legislation through Congress just like the Republicans pushed through impeachment during a 'lame duck' session.
Or is it only OK When Republicans Do It?
