First off, after experiencing first hand what happened in MA, I find myself missing Ted Kennedy more than I ever thought I would. Living here I had thought that Kennedy voted progressively because the people were progressive, but I found out this past week that it was the other way around. The people here are sheep, just like anywhere else, and I never properly gave credit to Ted for the sheep hearder he was.
So, do I want to vent..I sure do ... I am amazed by the stupidity around me. Since the Brown/Coakley election I have heard the following musing by people....after the ump...
I voted for Brown because he drives a truck
Errr....ummm...sure. If I drove a truck, would you vote for me?
This is to send a message to the Dems who raised our state sales tax
Wow, OK, you do know the difference between federal & state governments...right?
...and my personal favorite...
George W. Bush is a Progressive
Seriously, someone said this to me and I have to admit it took me totally off guard. I did follow-up with a 'How do you figure Bush was Progressive?' and I got 'Well, he wasn't conservative'....sigh...
So for my fellow, MA residents, feel free to post some of the odd ball things you have heard the past few days.
Yes, I know...it's not really a diary, so save me your 'Not a diary - please delete' comments.
