From now until the end of the month we've offered to donate $1 for every purchase made on our Amazon links. That will also apply to contributions made to candidates on our Progressive Electorate Act Blue page. Okay within reason - like up to $100 bucks maybe a little more.
Our preferred donor is Doctors without Borders who have been providing medical relief.
By contributing to our candidates you can also help Haiti relief efforts with one click.

Remember that now that corporations will have the ability to make unlimited contributions advocating for or against politicians. This means that as individual progressive contributors we must band together even stronger to make differences in elections.
"This Court now concludes that independent expenditures, including those made by corporations, do not give rise to corruption or the appearance of corruption," Kennedy wrote in the majority opinion in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission. "That speakers may have influence over or access to elected officials does not mean that those officials are corrupt. And the appearance of influence or access will not cause the electorate to lose faith in this democracy."
Interestingly though corporate execs complain to Congress about candidates dialing their companies for dollars.
Hopefully this will lead to some real pressure for change. Although in reality the companies just need to collectively say they will not contribute until real reform made.
That being said this is a call to donate $5, $10 or whatever you can afford to some of our great candidates this cycle.
