Robert Redford sums up Paris Hilton (and perhaps a lot more) in one sentence.
I just wanted to share this Robert Redford quote that I found over at Roger Ebert's blog*:
"Paris Hilton doesn't have anything to do with anything."
I've never really thought about Hilton, or had anything to say about her,and now I know why. It's nice when a quote is so self-evidently true that when you hear it, something snaps into place in your mind, and all you can do is laugh. Next to 'All men are created equal', I think 'Paris Hilton doesn't have anything to do with anything' may be one of the most profound observations I have ever considered. In fact, I'm pretty sure it's far less debatable than that founding father's quote.
If we were to replace 'In God We Trust' with 'Paris Hilton Doesn't have anything to do with anything' on our money, I think it would help usher the U.S.A. into a far more honest and practical place.
"Gimme some truth"-John Lennon.
