If corporations are US citizens with all the rights therein, and not simply artificial creations of the State, I want the rights of corporations for actual human being US citizens. Follow me for the list of rights and privileges that corporations have, provided by the State, which we do not have:
The rights and privileges provided and protected by the State which actual, living human being US citizens do not:
- Immortality
- No criminal punishment involving jail, prison, or death for any crime committed, willful or not, knowingly or not, including limited or no liability for any action, up to and including the willful and knowledgeable murder, including mass murder, of human beings. State authorities will have no right to either question, physically harm, nor take me into custody. People I employ, however, may be punished, most likely by my excusing them from my employ if I desire it, but my existence and freedom shall never be questioned nor threatened.
- Tax brakes and provided funds from local, state, and federal government bodies if I promise to create jobs, even if I fail to do so and never had any intent to.
- Incentives and/or whims providing me with no tax liability whatsoever, even amounting to a tax rebate on taxes I have not paid, resulting in a monetary gift from taxpayers.
- Bankruptcy protection to the point of trillions of dollars.
- Personally writing legislation and have it made into law.
- Having the US military invade, slaughter, and torture entire nations if there is something I want on, in, or under the land on which their citizens live, regardless of any law, domestic or international, or claims of ownership from the people, their governments, or other nations or peoples. And having my government produce treaties with the rest of the world in my favor, regardless of the human or environmental consequences.
- Deciding who does and who does not get to appear on television, including what points of view will or will not be shared.
- The ability to hire a band of mercenaries, or create one myself, which will be unaccountable under either domestic or international law, with the ability to slaughter innocents with either no accountability or, if there must be some, my employees will bear it, with the aid of government defense. Once again, my existence and freedom shall never be questioned nor threatened.
- Get an appointment with any government representative at a time of my choosing or refuse such calls for appointment if I find them to be inconvenient, unnecessary, or troublesome in any other way, without threat or action against any of the other rights listed.
Ten seems about right for this second Bill of Corporate US Citizen Rights. Who's with me?
