As a David Hoffman supporter, and more importantly a Democrat, I am seriously concerned about the prospect of a Giannoulious - Kirk match here in Illinois. And if you are one of the 24% undecided voters in this race please consider the following. And Even if you love Alexi, it is time to examine that love in the context of losing another Senate seat. Alexi may be a hell of a guy, but sadly, his family bank, not his winning personality will be front and center for the next 10 months if he wins Tuesday. The New York Times has an article that came out today that says this:
"Mr. Giannoulias, 33, has ducked all but the most general questions about which loans he approved that might have contributed to the bank’s trouble. He said there would be time later to get into such details.
I interpret that to mean: “I hope I can get this past my fellow Democrats. I’ll worry about my Republican opponent later.”

Is this really the candidate we should be putting forth in Obama's old
Senate seat? Fortunately I am not in the position of Giannoulias supporters but if I were, I hope I would make the best decision for the party and not just for one person. It is not just me saying this, read the article that came out today in the Washington Post as well: Washington Post

than our "guy". I urge you all to listen to that call! Here are more articles on the subject:
