Spitzer's Corner Brewpub, that is. So, did that get your attention for my first diary? Well, it did if you're reading this and if you're not, I didn't.
A bunch (gaggle?) of us braved a moderate amount of cold and met down on the Lower East Side of Manhattan for lunch, which then drifted into dinner for a few. As far as we can tell, the attendees were; edsbrooklyn, Jimdotz, oxfdblue, mole 333, ask, BobinNY, Morus, Conchita, Jacob (really cute kid), Jeffrey Feldman, stillman, Jerome, of course, sidnora and myself. If I've forgotten anyone, please chime in in the comments.
Stillman brought info on his first film, The End of Poverty?, noting that Jerome is in it and Joseph Stiglitz as well. It addresses the question "why does poverty persist in a world with so much wealth?"
It's showing at the Village East on 12th between 5th and University.
Get there soon as it's a limited engagement.
Photos below the fold.
