It’s been an interesting time here at the Brunner campaign. First, the Washington Post’s "The Fix" has concluded that despite Fisher’s fundraising advantage, his campaign is "something short of impressive." Second, after Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner filed her candidate petitions, which was gathered entirely by an army of progressive volunteers, we’ve received phone call after phone call from folks pointing out that our primary opponent has hired out-of-state staff to gather his signatures.
While our opponent continues to deal with bad polls and bad press, we’re preparing to take our campaign to the next step, and we need the help of grassroots progressives.
We’re looking for volunteers, whereever they may be, to begin our phonebanking operation to identify likely Brunner primary voters in Ohio as the first phase of the campaign’s GOTV drive for the primary election. We can win this election if we have a superior ground game. Our ground game has already impressed people throughout the country with how our grassroots volunteer army effectively and efficiently got us more than enough to qualify for the primary ballot in record time.
Now, we need your help in identifying likely primary voters who are looking for an authentic progressive candidate who will lead on our causes in the United States Senate.
Please, help elect Jennifer Brunner to the United States Senate by signing up for her grassroots phonebank or by donating to her campaign.
On behalf of the Brunner campaign, I want to thank everyone for the words of encouragement and support!
