Or, in my case, limp.
Back when I went to school in the 1950's and 1960's, we actually learned how government worked. Apparently no one in Congress now has had those classes. I heard Boehner and Canter talking about the health care bill that hasn't passed. Uh, well it did. Both the senate and the house have passed health care reform bills. Then it goes back to the house. That's how bills are passed. Boehner and Canter are both members of Congress, so apparently they missed something somewhere.
I voted for President Obama for exactly the same traits he's displaying now, but I don't have the patience he has. I don't have the patience because I don't have the time. I don't have the time because I'm getting older and sicker, and have lousy insurance, so don't have any hope of getting any help any time soon. I have a long story of health insurance woes, but won't bore you with that.
What I'm looking for are people who are like us, underinsured. Yes, we do have the best health care system in the world. The Republicans are right about that. It's just that we don't all have access to it.
It may be time for the sick, the poor, the uninsured, the underinsured and anyone who has been raped by their so-called health care insurance company, to show up on the Capitol steps.
I bet there are more of us than there are tea partiers.
