For those who don't know, one Joshua Tabor is charged by authorities in Washington for using water torture on his four-year-old daughter because she couldn't recite the alphabet.
Here's the story from USA Today:

Wonder where he got the idea that water torture is a good thing, don't you? Was it Joe Scarborough's show? Probably not: NOBODY watches that show. Was it one of many right-wing radio hosts? Was it Marc Thiessen, the Torture Party's point man on extolling the joys of the water cure? All of the above, possibly?
This leads to another question: Someone who commits such a vile form of child abuse does so on the assumption that he or she will not face jail time for doing it. So I can't help but wonder if Eric Holder's refusal to bring Bush's Willing Executioners to justice, and his Justice Department's efforts to sweep it all under the rug weren't another influence on Joshua Tabor forcing a little girl's head under water.
I’m just relieved that local officials are on the case. Obama and Holder would have let Joshua Ryan Tabor off without being investigated, let alone charged and tried. At most David Margolis would have written a memo saying that Tabor showed "poor judgment".
