a) MSNBC (newswine.com) is ran by morons
b) MSNBC (newswine.com) is doing a bad job
c) Something else
Have you seen MSNBC's recent "on newswine.com" poll? Titled "What's been the biggest problem with President Obama's attempt to overhaul the health system?" while offering the following three choices?
a) A bad sales job
b) The actual policy
c) Something else
That's it folks. Pick an choose (eeeny meeeny miny moe) your hearts' content while trying not to notice that the top two choices are delegated to the "problems" with the president's "salesmanship" and "the actual policy." Now isn't it oxymoronic to list those two together since if the prez failed to sell/explain his plan to start with then how could we credit the voters who claim to find his "actual policy" problematic? How could they be so sure about the problems of the policy if they haven't been explained properly, to begin with? The defense of president's HCR plan, meanwhile, is left to the third option, "Something else," (under the possible "biggest problem" label, mind you)where you will find the voters trying to voice their opinion.
Results? An overwhelming (67%) votes from the (most likely) Republican side claiming to have a problem with the actual policy involving the president's HCR efforts. Their responses range from the "Unconstitutionality" of the whole thing to the "Government overstepping its bounds."
This must be our new style of fair and balanced polling:
What's your biggest problem with Barack Obama's presidency?
a) He is bad
b) He is no good
c) Something else
Brilliant!
