Dick Cheney, the noted terrorist hunter, has decided that the US government can no longer be utter hypocrites about domestic terrorism and needs to pre-emptively capture, torture, and imprison domestic terrorists like Joe Stack before they act out on their violent rhetoric.
This McClatchy article reveals that "Dick Cheney and other politicians on the right" are mulling how their shadow US government can institute new policies for rendition, torture, and imprisonment of domestic terrorists in island prisons that aren't part of US territory or its laws (Guantanamo). They ponder:
If Stack was a terrorist, what is the legal solution for preventing it from happening again?
The Cheney shadow government is trying to figure out how they can get away with rendition of terrorists like Jose Padilla and Joe Stack. How can the US government...?
Indefinitely confine disgruntled software engineers at Guantanamo? Or set up a military tribunal to ensure they are found guilty?
The article admits that some of their assertions might seem out of context so they use the old trick mastered by Fox News and throw in this caveat.
In their efforts to use the war on terror to fabricate fear, Dick Cheney and other politicians on the right have found it is easier to stir up emotions about someone of a different race, nationality and religion.
So now Dick Cheney is understandably trying to be consistent: America needs to go out and pre-emptively capture, torture, and imprison people like Joe Stack who are even THINKING, and certainly if they're TALKING about terrorist attacks on right wing blogs.
Cheney is tired of being a hypocrite and his shadow government has issued its fatwa: the US Constitution is no longer useful and his neo-fascist system of international governance has arrived stateside.
Cheney is going after the domestic terrorist traitors.
