Jamie Oliver, also known as the Naked Chef, is striving to
change the way children eat.

Jamie's Food Revolution an attempt to teach children about those fruit and vegetable thingies.
It is apalling to see children not able to identify a tomato and several other vegetables. When shown an eggplant, the first guess as to what it is, is a pear!
I would venture to guess that if a room full of KosKids were asked, they'd recognize the vegetables. (the only kid who wouldn't is the poor child of the notorious Kos troll.)

He starts out in Huntington, West Virginia, which has been called the unhealthiest city in America, hoping for a food revolution there that will create a chain reaction across the nation.
Oliver tests the waters with the first graders by seeing how well they know their fruits and vegetables.

British celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, whose School Dinners and Feed Me Better campaign pressured the UK government to invest $1 billion to ban junk food and improve school lunches, has won the TED Prize for 2010.
The winner is granted $100,000 and "a wish to change the world." Oliver will be unveiling his on February 10 at the TED2010 conference, and the TED community will work to make it come true.
Oliver has waged war on the obesity epidemic, as the CDC finds that one in four Americans are considered obese. He'll be tackling this issue head on with an ABC series in 2010 called "Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution USA" to bring his ideas on healthy eating to America.
