One of my usual hops over to my favourite spoilt brat Bill Kristol's personal little rag the Weekly Slytherin Standard reveals him to be in full Tea Party mode.
The Democrats are Doooomeeed, dooooomeded writes Kristol in his latest editorial.
But then again....
Oh noes......
Those stuck up mandarins [as in the fruit not china] of the GOP better get with the programme because they owe so much:
For all that may be problematic about some aspects of this new activism, the fact remains that the Grand Old Party owes Tea Partiers much more than they owe Republicans—which is why the condescension of some GOP elites toward them is not only unseemly but foolish.

So the party of No has to become the full blown party of:
Yes William, sure sure, I can see you doing lunch with this lot.
Kristol hails the Democratic Party's defeat since:
1] Obama: for being too organizing and hence has organized Americans against him. Oh well, wow.
2] Pelosi: for being ideologically blinkered and just plain bad tempered [psst William look in the mirror].
3] Reid for being incompetent [well I sort of agree].
4] The Tea party rocks.
5] The American people don't want health care reform no matter what the polls show.
But oh noes this could all go wrong unless
The DC Republicans get behind the Teabag Party!
They need to welcome upstart candidates and unorthodox political strategies. They need to be open to new formulations of issues. In the pages of newspapers and magazines, conservatives have begun to lay out sensible and appropriately modest (as befits a congressional-year election) policy proposals that contrast with the Democrats’.
So the plan is:
1] Support the Tea Party.
2] Write moderate stuff in the papers that ignore the Tea Party.
3] Go crazy again once in power.
Oh I see.
The usual Republican strategy:
1] Find a lunatic fringe to create wedge issues.
2] Lie
3] Make a total fucking mess of it as usual when given the opportunity.
But first Obama has to do the hard work
Then the big task of 2011: framing a post-financial crisis, post-Obama governing vision for the country.
Hey once its fixed we can break it.
Fucking 'A' go Sarah Palin!
Yes William, I don't know quite how you lot sucker the American people every now and then.
Sorry William you just sound desperate.
