In a March 9, 2010, appearance on 'Countdown with Keith Olbermann', Markos Moulitsas suggested that Dennis Kucinich should face a primary challenge if he votes against the Senate healthcare bill now up for consideration in the House of Representatives.
But three months ago, Markos was all about killing the Senate healthcare bill. Did I miss the retraction?
In this article. titled "Remove mandate, or kill this bill", Markos Moulitsas was quoted as tweeting "Insurance companies win. Time to kill this monstrosity coming out of the Senate." Admittedly, he was for other parts of the Senate bill, as quoted "Strip out the mandate, and the rest of the bill is palatable."
But in his Countdown appearance, Markos was quoted as saying about Dennis Kucinich: "What he is doing is undermining this reform...He is making common cause with Republicans." And yet Markos was doing the exact same thing three months ago.
I just wish I had seen the retraction of that original article.
