So the Health Insurance Industry has made it clear that they are not gouging Americans out of as many billions of dollars, as are The Medical Profession, Hospitals and the Pharmaceutical Industry. Well now, that’s a relief! It’s nice to know that Health Insurance Corporations come in a close third behind BANKS and Pharmaceuticals in the selling out of American citizens. It isn’t Money that is the root of all evil. The root of all evil is the LOVE of Money that is ever growing in the hearts and minds of the men and women who run Corporate America.
Left or Right, Tea or Coffee, “To Be or Not to Be,” “From Sea to Shining Sea,” All Americans must recapture the “United We Stand” philosophy of Semper fi, and correctly identify and focus our non-violent discontent on the real “Enemy of the State.” Despite the GOP’s convenient sound bite, “…Government is the problem,” in a Republic, if the primary responsibility of Government isn’t “…To Preserve, Protect and Defend” All American Citizens, then what is Government’s raison d’être? I mean, what’s left for them to do: “Have your people call my people, and we’ll do lunch,” and “Lobby” the financial split. Is that what we've come to accept as our Legacy from Washington, Adams, Jefferson, "Abraham, Martin and John?"
Let's try a coffee break from tea parties and independents reacting to the latest Media driven, non-newsworthy gossip long enough to discover we really are, “closer than ever." Although Government at all levels is often slow and disoriented, Government, unless peopled by moral midgets like the Bush League, is often the only sensitive and empathetic protector of the protectorate. Of course, “We the People” must watchfully question authority and diligently govern our Government, for there are some remaining corporate disciples within Government, who do not want our Government to govern. Now that is a problem for American citizens. Nonetheless, in our Republic, an elected Government has far greater potential to be lawful & humane toward its citizens, than most Corporate CEOs, their self-indulgent Boards or short-sighted investors. We must get back to “All for One and One for All,” if we are to survive economically at home and abroad.
What Corporate America has become is an insistent root strangling both Government and governed. It’s BIG Business, not the guy growing his own small enterprise with 50 employees. It’s the secret exchange of Board Room memos, that reduces us to addictive shame. It’s the uncaring, self-centered, me-first policies slipped into our daily lives, by those who just don't care who does without, as long as their bonuses flow uninterrupted into their vacation accounts. It’s those secretly powerful, who wheeling & dealing, replace our national security, with their boomeranging rewards of World economic dominion. It's those who invest, knowing they are accomplices to increasing Corporate crime and political payoffs. It's the buck stopping before improving our schools, communities and infra-structure, until the bell no longer tolls for thee, Sweet Land of Almost Liberty.
BIG Global Corporations need the Religious Right, Progressive Left, Tea & Coffee Parties, and swing vote Independents, to be distracted & misdirected against each other and our Government. This keeps us too dysfunctional to realize, the New Robber Barons are hiding on the top floor of Pharmaceutical, Banking, Health and Oil Corporations. They are "the enemy of the people," and only the wise among them, fear that “We the People” will yet wake up, to purge, cleanse and purify ourselves of the effects of their crippling corporate needs.
Take away their money and you take away their power. Stop buying what they’re selling and stop investing in their crimes against us, and you’ll get their attention. Peacefully march on all their corporate offices, waving your signs. Eject from Congress their puppets masquerading as “servants of the people,” and you eliminate their political protection. With your voice and physical presence, invade the comfort zone of Corporate CEOs, by ending all financial relationships with them. Stop buying their products, be they Meds, bank accounts, or bets on the number of your hospital visits. Then they'll see beyond the dollar signs in their eyes. Our neighbors are not the enemy, even if they do not share our political preferences. The enemy, is any Corporation in the world, whose practices, products or fee structures endanger the safety & stability of Americans or the security of America. Corporate leaders and their Conservative political allies are molding America into their own image of financial empire, and like anything top heavy, it will surely topple over, and crash. Corporations Are NOT People, and without "We the People," their dollars become zeros. In this Change, even The Supreme Court and CEOs must & will believe.
