Obama Forcefully Makes Case at Capitol
President Obama just closed his remarks to House Democrats, telling them they were on the verge of making history...
Finally, Mr. Obama declared, "We have been debating health care for decades. It has now been debated for a year. It is in your hands. It is time to pass health care reform for America, and I am confident that you are going to do it tomorrow."
UPDATE #2: You can watch C-SPAN taking listener calls and get a sense of what people around the country are thinking and saying about HCR.

UPDATE #3: Political Wire reports this piece of good news
Stupak Group Cut in Half
Here's why there is no deal with Rep. Bart Stupak (D-MI): Roll Call reports House Democratic leaders appear to be succeeding in their push to peel off abortion-rights opponents lined up with Stupak against a health care overhaul.
"Stupak said those standing with him now number about six -- down from the rough dozen he has claimed for weeks. That is likely enough to put the majority within striking distance of the 216 votes they need for passage."
Meanwhile, The Hill notes that Stupak is still considering whether an executive order from President Obama ensuring that federal funds would not go toward abortions would sway his vote.

UPDATE #4: If any of you missed the speech by President Obama, C-SPAN has it on their web site now. The first two speeches are by Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD). The president's speech begins just after the 18:00 mark of the video.
President Obama visited Capitol Hill to meet with House Democrats. He talked about the state of health care in the United States.

President Obama had planned this trip to persuade Democratic legislators to support this historic bill
U.S. President Barack Obama goes to Capitol Hill a short time from now (3:05 p.m. EDT) for a last-minute appeal to pass major health-care reform legislation. Democrats say they are approaching the number of votes they need for passage, as Sunday's vote looms.
President Obama is pressing hard for House of Representatives passage of the health-care reform bill. His Saturday afternoon meeting with Democratic Party lawmakers follows dozens of telephone calls over the past few days seeking their support.
Mr. Obama has also held several rallies seeking the public's support, like the one Friday in Fairfax, Virginia.
If there are additional press reports, I'll update this diary.
