STATEMENT FROM COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR DAN PFEIFFER
STATEMENT FROM COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR DAN PFEIFFER
Today, the President announced that he will be issuing an executive order after the passage of the health insurance reform law that will reaffirm its consistency with longstanding restrictions on the use of federal funds for abortion.
While the legislation as written maintains current law, the executive order provides additional safeguards to ensure that the status quo is upheld and enforced, and that the health care legislation's restrictions against the public funding of abortions cannot be circumvented....
John Boner and Michelle Bachman among other highly regarded Republicans have started a campaign as the House of Representatives continues the debate and passage of HCR to make sure that their constituency understands that now, because of this executive order, the taxpayers of America will in fact be funding all abortions done anywhere by anyone in the USA for free.
I have to say that these people are so crazy that it would be funny, if there weren't for a small but vocal group of white supremacists that are armed and ready to react with indignation, without facts, which are not important in this group.
So far, it is my estimation that they have accused the Democratic party and the President of:
Funding Abortion through trickery
Causing the Deficit
Causing the Fall of Wall Street
Continuing the loss of jobs
The current state of the economy
Being African American and not a citizen of the United States
The totalitarian takeover of the country through socialized medicine
I can't even think of the myriad of activities that this government is responsible for according to them it changes with each moment.
So far, without any encouragement or consequences they have caused and approved of the deaths of abortion doctors, the beatings and racial slurings of anyone that does not agree with their particular views and alas, finally, the latest, rousting of a Parkinsons patient, who was on the wrong side of the street appearing to be looking for a handout. Not to mention moving into peoples personal lives and bedrooms to make accountable those who choose a different sexual orientation.
I have been watching the HCR voting all day and at every turn, the fear that they will succeed is accompanied by a statement from this party that gets more and more ridiculous and fearful. Fearful for themselves. I quote Shakepeare, not a favorite I am sorry to say but nevertheless "thou protest too much" Shut up and take your medicine.
