So the GOP (and Demos) were outraged by the sweetheart deals in the Senate Bill. The Cornhusker Kickback was shady politics they said. But when a bill came up Sunday that would take away those shady deals, The House GOP voted against it. Every single one of them. So in effect they voted for shady deals. But they will have another chance in the Senate. If those deals are so bad, will the GOP vote to get rid of them ? Come election time, can we point to this and say 'The GOP voted for shady deals' ?
Another thought on GOP health care reform after the jump.
They say the individual mandate is unconstitutional and have said that tort reform is the best way to reform health care. Surprisingly enough, the Illinois Supreme Court just declared their 2005 Malpractice limits law as unconstitutional. Imagine that. One of their big points is not just speculated as being unconstitutional but actually declared so by a state Supreme Court.

Will you look at that ?
