I'm the New Media Director for the U.S. Senate campaign of Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner.
We won a great grassroots victory this week - under pressure from over 74,000 emails sent to members of the Ohio Democratic Party Executive Committee, Jennifer Brunner's party-insider primary opponent withdrew his request for a state party endorsement and the party pledged to remain neutral. Now Ohio will get a fair primary contest to choose the best OH-Sen nominee - and we all know who that is!
To celebrate our victory and kick off get-out-the-vote operations for early voting (begins next Tuesday), we've designated Friday, March 26th as "Victory For Courage" Money Bomb Day. Yay!

Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner personifies courage. She withstood personal, partisan attacks against a fair and accessible election system, taking the case of the voters all the way to the United States Supreme Court and won. She received the John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award for her success in cleaning up Ohio's elections and protecting our votes.
On Friday we will be calling on supporters around Ohio and across the nation to help us launch our get-out-the-vote push by making online contributions and helping spread the word through their online networks that day. Volunteers will be reaching out across the Net in creative ways to engage progressives everywhere to work for more courage in the Senate. Check back at VictoryForCourage.com frequently for updates and special features.
Help build the momentum for early voting on Friday. Visit VictoryforCourage.com and make a pledge for $10 or $25 now. It's not how much but how many! Make a pledge and get the party started.
