There was a rec-listed diary, that's very, very concerned over Jane Hamsher's "lack of transparency" over how she spends her PAC money.
Except why is Hamsher reviled around here in the first place?
Because she issued a joint statement with Grover Norquist.
What was that joint statement about?
Calling on Rahm Emmanuel to resign, and for an investigation of his short but highly lucrative stint at Freddie Mac.
So why didn't those currently blasting Hamsher over her "lack of transparency" support her when she was asking for an investigation of Rahm Emanuel? Especially given Hamsher's and Rahm's somewhat disparate levels of power and influence within the party. And before anyone insists that Rahm wasn't accused of a crime - where is the probable suspicion on Jane Hamsher and her PAC's?
This reminds me of when the Republican Party went from insisting that military service was vital for a presidential candidate and hating draft dodgers in 1992, to blowing off military service and draft dodging in the 2000 Republican Primary, and the general elections in 2000 and 2004.
