Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell and his Attorney General, Kenneth T. Cuccinelli, II, cannot possibly represent the viewpoints of the majority of Virginians. McDonnell proved he's still at least a latent racist with his talk of promoting the Confederacy, and Cuccinelli is a gay basher.
Unfortunately, the state of Virginia has no procedure for the direct recall via petition of its elected officials, but petitions can be circulated, calling for a recall trial presided over by a judge.
It seems to me a recall trial might not be a bad idea. It likely would not succeed, but it would bring attention of the absolutely wrong sort to the racist governor and his gay-bashing sidekick.
