Angry, old, southern, white men fearing their loss of power, wanting their "country back." H-m-m-m sounds familiar.
How ironic that the tea parties, who vote regularly for the "party of Lincoln," is protesting in the name of "state's rights" to defy the union: the cause that Lincoln fought and died fighting against. Of course, anyone who grew up in the American South in the 1960's notes this phenomenon as predictable--sad, but predictable all the same.
The cold, lifeless hands of these reactionaries will finally slip from power one day. Here's hoping they are not able to do much permanent damage in the dying process.
P.S. Don't let the back door hit ya where the good Lord split ya!
