It's been a busy day in GOP-on-GOP violence...
We start with Marco Rubio coming to the ugly realization that his party doesn't like people like him:
#1: Marco Rubio speaks out on AZ immigration law
From what I have read in news reports, I do have concerns about this legislation. While I don’t believe Arizona’s policy was based on anything other than trying to get a handle on our broken borders, I think aspects of the law, especially that dealing with ‘reasonable suspicion,’ are going to put our law enforcement officers in an incredibly difficult position. It could also unreasonably single out people who are here legally, including many American citizens. Throughout American history and throughout this administration we have seen that when government is given an inch it takes a mile.
Nice hedge, Marco, you damn socialist! Now you're sticking up for illegals!

Next, we find that GOP governors hate the Tea Party:
#2: GOP governors attack Massachusetts Tea Party gubernatorial candidate
The Republican Governors Association is going after Tim Cahill, who has associated himself with the Tea Party in his independent run for Masschusetts governor.
Someone call Sarah Palin and get her on the case! She loves the Tea Partiers!
Finally, Michael Steele discovers, yet again, that his party doesn't believe a black guy is up to the task of running the party:
#3: GOP Congressman Rips RNC For "Deceptive" Census Mailers
A Republican Congressman just sharply criticized the RNC’s mailers as an effort to "deceive people" in an interview with me just now, and confirmed that he and a second GOPer are set to demand that RNC chair Michael Steele drop the practice immediately lest they remain in violation of the law.
...
"They’re going to have to abide by the law," Chaffetz continued. "The reason they’re using the word census is they’re trying to deceive people. I think that’s wrong. Even though it’s my own party I’ve got to call this out for what it is."
Chaffetz added that he and the law’s co-sponsor, GOP Rep Darrell Issa of California, are drafting a letter to the RNC demanding a stop to this. "We’re making it crystal clear to Chairman Steele where we stand on this issue," he said. "I want the law to be enforced to its fullest effect."
All in all a great day for GOP-on-GOP violence!
And I agree with all of it! They suck!
