So, on Joe's twitter feed he announced that he was having a major campaign speech last night.
"Giving a speech tomorrow night at American University in D.C. with Richard Clarke. Check it out and invite 5 friends: http://bit.ly/... "
However, it turns out that the "major speech' was not held at American University and received "less than major" coverage. If fact, it was such a dud that Sestak deleted the post.

A major campaign speech precludes that a candidate would be giving it from where he is campaigning right? No, not Sestak.... the "Washington outsider" traveled to DC to do his major campaign speech. It is at the very least, an extremely awkward move not by my standards, but by any.
In the Allentown Morning Call, Colby Itkowitz -- the other half of PA's D.C. reporting contingent -- has this:
In a tiny law firm office Wednesday night, Sestak did not shed any new light on his military career, but more succinctly recounted the events that led to his retirement. He did not address the specifics in the week-old Specter TV ad that says Sestak was relieved of duty for ''creating a poor command climate.''

After the speech Sestak refused to release his records.
Sestak won't release Navy records
Rep. Joe Sestak says he is not going to turn over Navy personnel records that might rebut the stories he was let go from a top Pentagon job for creating a "poor command climate" among subordinates - an issue which has been used to great effect by Sen. Arlen Specter's Democratic primary campaign.

This leads me to believe Sestak likely will not release his records because its possible they could confirm Specters contention. However, regardless, the key question should be, with his stellar record under former Admiral Clarke, Sestak should be jumping to release his performance records. I would. Admiral Mullen wasnt his boss for his 31 years in the Navy, was he? Which leads me to believe:

Enough "he said, she said..." lets get some document production.
