The great story that's been burning up the intertubes these past couple of days has just had a new twist added to it.
Soon-to-be-disgraced hypocrite George Alan Rekers is, according to "Lucien," the paid escort who accompanied Rev. Rekkers to Europe recently, most definitely homosexual.
In the latest update from the Miami New Times, Jo-Vanni Roman, the escort known to most of us as "Lucien" was interviewed by the paper "in the wee hours of Thursday morning."
Now, as we have all learned, Lucien was hired by Rekers as a traveling companion through a posting on the website Rentboy.com. Rekers, has informed us that he he "learned Lucien was a prostitute only midway through their vacation. 'I had surgery,' Rekers said, 'and I can't lift luggage. That's why I hired him.' (Medical problems didn't stop him from pushing the tottering baggage cart through MIA.)"
Well, according to Lucien, luggage wasn't what was on Rekers' agenda for this little jaunt.
According to
Miami New Times
The male escort hired by anti-gay activist George Alan Rekers has told Miami New Times that the Baptist minister is a homosexual who paid him to provide body rubs, once a day, in the nude, during their ten-day vacation in Europe.
Rekers allegedly named his favorite maneuver the "long stroke" -- a complicated caress "across his penis, thigh... and his anus over the butt cheeks," as the escort puts it. "Rekers liked to be rubbed down there," he says.
Too much information? I'd say it is for George Alan "Hypocrite" Rekers who has considerable explaining to do-not only to the anti-gay organizations with which he is affiliated but also to the thousands of gay families he actively sought to disenfranchise.
Florida Attorney General also has a bit of explaining to do to the citizens of his state since they footed the bill for Rekers' paid testimony against gay adoption back in 2008. One wonders how much of the $87,000 paid out to Rekers for his barrage of lies was used to pay for his little boondoggle with Lucien.
Lucien, the escort chose to speak out after a friend alerted him to the truth about Rekers' activities outside the "long stroke"
Miami New Times again:
Lucien, who had originally declined to speak about the trip, now says he can do little good by protecting his erstwhile, fundamentalist client...
Lucien now offers Rekers a counterproposal: "In all honesty, he should disassociate himself from these [anti-gay] groups."
Rekers probably won't need to disassociate himself. FRC has already stricken his name from its website. Undoubtedly NARTH won't be far behind after these revelations.
Personally, I don't believe there is anything he can do to ever get himself into the good graces of the gay community. The damage he's caused will not soon be forgotten.
wow! Rec listed! thanks everyone, i've never gotten onto the rec list before.
