I was doing my usual thrice-daily perusing of Google News when I came across this article by Nicholas Kristof.
This article says a lot of things I've been trying to figure out how to communicate to people about the Catholic Church. About how at the most important levels, the levels where humble feet meet the road (or the out-of-the-way South American or African village path), the Catholic Church is still a great organization, with many great people in it, doing amazing things.
I know this isn't a very good diary, and I'll save you any more of my ramblings, but I just thought this was something people should see.
