From the Vincent Sheheen for S.C.Gov. campaign:
With roughly 50 hours left before the polls close, we feel the momentum. However, there are still many voters who haven't yet made up their minds on which candidate they'll select at the voting booth.
Do you know someone who's undecided? If so, will you forward this message to them and share these editorials? We've included excerpts as well as links to the originals.
Thanks for your help, and don't forget to mark your calendars to vote on Tuesday and remind your friends and family members to vote as well! Polls are open from 7 AM - 7 PM.

Spartanburg Herald-Journal:
"Vince Sheheen, 39, is the Democratic gubernatorial candidate with the best chance to bridge the partisan divide in the General Assembly, as well as the abyss between the legislature and the Governor's Mansion. Bringing together these warring factions is crucial if South Carolina is to move forward, and that's why Sheheen deserves the nomination."
Myrtle Beach Sun-News:
"Unlike the circus the Republican gubernatorial primary has become, the race for the Democratic nomination has been a calmer affair - one that presents a clear choice, state Sen. Vincent Sheheen. ...
...(A)s governor, Sheheen would be both smart and effective. Sheheen's understanding of the issues runs deeper than any candidate we've met, and yet he also understands the legislature, which, as Gov. Mark Sanford's mostly failed reform efforts have proven, is equally if not more important."
Rock Hill Herald:
"Sheheen regards this moment in the state's history as an opportune alignment of forces intent on creating a stable, rational tax system and restoring economic momentum to the state. He sees local governments, educators, the business community and the Legislature finding common cause in working on what he calls his No. 1 task, reducing unemployment and creating new job opportunities statewide."
Greenville News:
"South Carolina desperately needs a pragmatic governor who can restore credibility to the Governor’s Office and repair the governor’s relationship with the Legislature. It also needs an executive who recognizes the importance of creating jobs, will make that the No. 1 priority and has a viable plan for making the state competitive.
Sheheen strikes the right tone in these areas. As a lawmaker, he has a head start on building relationships in the Statehouse. He would bring to the office a thoughtful, measured presence and he understands the need for all sides to work together toward the same goal. Finally, Sheheen has put forward solid ideas for creating jobs in a state that has borne the brunt of the recession."
The State:
"Sen. Sheheen is blessed with experience, knowledge and wisdom beyond his years, which puts him in an unusual position: He is a solid candidate who offers a youthful, energetic alternative to the moribund politics that have consumed our state. He projects a positive and even inspirational image that would go a long way toward changing what the rest of the world thinks of us and what we think of ourselves. Voters in the June 8 Democratic primary would do our state a service by nominating him."
