Congressman Bob Etheridge (D-NC) has a telling encounter with a young college student.
This is part of the culture in Washington, D.C., where the entire political body has essentially lost it's mind. They have grown so arrogant in their "War on Terrorism" and as servants of Wall Street, AIPAC and privileged lobbyists that they have quietly dismissed the 300 million people in their electorate as "subjects" who they despise as beneath their notice. They are so out of touch with reality they barely even think of the citizenry as anything but extras in the background whom they do not deign to speak to.
