Maria Shriver starts the The Woman's Conference 2010 on October 24 and has provided a list of more than 140 speakers and participants. One name is conspicuous by its absence.
When the stupidity of this woman shocks Bill O'Reilly, Conservatives are angry at some of her choices of endorsement, Rush leaves her off his wedding list, her idea of meeting with foreign dignitaries is a photo-op with Thatcher who suffers from dementia - can it possibly be that her star is falling? Oh the audacity of Hope.
There are portions of the Woman's Conference that I would have thought Palin would feel were tailor made for her such as:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/...
stage conversations with prominent speakers, notable personalities and women entrepreneurs
....stage interviews and book signings with more than 20 best-selling authors such as Caroline Kennedy....
Palin couldn't participate in this one because she demonstrated to Couric that she didn't know much about the Supreme Court, its decisions or even some pretty high profile cases such as Exxon Valdez.
Diane Sawyer will moderate a "once-in-a-lifetime conversation" between The Honorable Sandra Day O'Connor and U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg
As a quitty pants she certainly would not be able to participate in this:
Campbell Brown will moderate a conversation titled "It's Time to Talk to Women Who Know Firsthand What It Takes to Lead"
If Palin had any sense of her limitations she would be really humiliated that after she offered, publicly, to help the President with the oil spill he ignores her offer and instead appoints another Alaskan:
http://www.akbizmag.com/...
"As an attorney, Fran's a tough interrogator. As an elected mayor, legislator and university CEO, she is patient and diplomatic. As lieutenant governor, her administration forced industry to install some of the nation's best oil shipment procedures in Prince William Sound after the Exxon Valdez spill. As chair of the North Pacific Anadromous Fish Commission, she knows the impacts of development on fisheries. As a member of the special legislative committee on that spill and the first chair of Alaska's Coastal Zone Management Council, she is as knowledgeable as anyone about the aftermath of a massive oil spill and the necessary steps to prevent future spills............"
Her show, on Fox no less, fizzled and it is reported that the Discovery channel is having difficulty obtaining sponsors for Sarah Palin's Alaska

Sarah Palin's new television show is like Sarah Palin—fuzzy on the details—but this time really dull

As you can see the cover of the magazine portrays Sarah Palin as a crazed gun wielding Alice, while the Limbaugh inspired March Hare and the the always sobbing Mad Becker bellow beside her. And this tableau plays out in the presence of a sly Fox who carefully peers out from the safety of his teapot. Rupert, is that you?
It is a fairly brilliant illustration which also does not miss the opportunity to take a jab at President Obama by portraying him as a Voodoo doll sitting in a cup of BP brand tea, shows two elephants as riveted spectators, and even has a cup of tea labeled "immigrants out!!"
All said and done, laughter subsided, this is not a woman to fear. She is no leader, she is a puppet. Fear those that are pulling her strings and using her to meet their own agenda.
