We all know about unreasonable search. But, what about a right to privacy? Do corporations have the right to know where your cell phone is/was? What is stopping them? Do Google or Bing have a right to keep all your searches in a data base? What is stopping them? So you get a list of sites as a result of a search. Do search companies have a right to keep track of what links you click on in a database? What is stopping them?
The answer to all the questions is simple. Nothing is stopping companies from building a database of your habits, be the company a grocery store scanning a discount card, a credit card company, Google, Bing, Verizon, and on and on.
With this information a company can target you to sell you something. This information allows the company to build a profile. With thousands of data points they literally can get inside your head. As things stand now, you/we have no privacy.
The solution is simple.
