Adios Alaskans...
She was after all a member of the AIP (Alaska Independence Party) so all the love for America that she spews, it just seems a little off brand to me.
"So while President Obama is getting pushed around by the likes of Russia and China, our allies are left to wonder about the value of an alliance with our country any more. They're asking what is it worth," she said."
It's amazing isn't it that that the self professed patriot, (Sarah darling) lingers on the fringes of a secessionist's point of view.
Let us walk away from this great Union is the message I see here, as long as the bank account, private jets, and limousine privileges don't suffer.
So let's discuss further, Ms Palin, the worthiness of an alliance with America.
First things first... Who is "we are left to wonder"... who exactly is the "we" here?
You don't speak for me, and pretty much any other American that has spent a legitimate 4 years to get a degree.
So is that "we" your personal political machine?
What gives you the right to preach about America's values when you joined a party to disavow the state you would end up governing?
You say "WE" I think that translates to me me me and of course me.
So lets get to the second part. How is Obama getting pushed around? Are there foreign warships at our shores? Has he built a fence around the White House? Have we as a nation been brought to our knees?
Do we as a nation use Facebook as our litmus test? Do we respond to foreign aggression with tweets? Did we kill the Somali pirates with harsh language and blackberry texts?
Have we done nothing but try to improve the condition for our people in the last two years?
You have the temerity to ask what a relationship is worth for foreign countries with us?
First of all, you mentioned "Allies" the implication of the term settles that argument.
Second of all, it is exactly that "relationship" that is so coveted by so many other countries.
You have the nerve to ask what is it worth?
I don't think that question resonates in Haiti.
There is no diplomat on earth stupid enough to even suggest that question.
In the process of asking what it is worth. You Sarah Palin, bring to the table a discussion of doubt.
Your suggestion of our weakness, is purely an attempt to score political points. Yet you lend it to the enemy, the Taliban, Al Queda, languish in your position.
It is very clear that you would love to see Obama fail to somehow enhance your aspirations and soothe the pain of your flogged ego. But honestly, the rest of the world does not want him to fail.
Your ego is outnumbered here and now.
So what is it worth Ms Palin?
I hope you go to Europe to solicit Thatcher, and recuse yourself after the photo-op to your shelter. Be aware though, that Europeans as much as you despise, disdain, and belittle them, are intellectually formidable, and not easily cowed.
They are the backbone of our alliance against tyranny and suspect intentions, so beware Ms Palin, there shall be no crowds to control, nor any sort of pathetic adulation for your upcoming vaudeville act.
